Getting Ready for Graduation!

• Prepare for your 1 hour class, you will need to teach it to a minimum of 2 people and record the class with their consent.

Final Class Guidelines:

• Hatha or Vinyasa or both, you may incorporate components of other styles as long as you are confident in teaching them.

• Must have an introduction, student check in ie. injuries or disorder, student responsibility ie. listen to your body, take rest when you need, do not push yourself beyond our limits, ask for help if you are confused.

• Must have a progression of some kind and contain at least one of each sun salutation, the rest of the sequencing, focus or theme are all up to you.

• Your class must contain savasana and a closing/student thank you and dismissal (aftercare may discussed, offering of space for questions, invitation to something upcoming, think of your environment and time, closing can be as simple as; thank you, namaste, see you next time)

• Decide where, when and who you are teaching, depending on timing and availability, we may be able to arrange space at the Studio and peers or other teachers to join you!

• Record you final class!

Before deciding on your action, read the meditations in this section of the manual slowly and in a quiet, private space aloud to yourself.

Give yourself at least 5 minutes in silence after each one to visualize and integrate what each meditation has to offer.

Please write a short summary about the most impactful of the meditations and how it affected you. Share with us what your action was/will be - did you have to overcome any inner barriers to completing it? How did it feel when it was done?

Whether you choose to book a client, look for a new Yoga based job, pay for an advertisement for yourself, create a flyer, make a call to a potential workshop space or person with whom to collaborate, there are so many options!

Choose something powerful to put into action today and DO IT NOW! Sometimes the best choice is the thing we are most resistant towards or most afraid of!

Written Exam (Exciting Information Exchage)

We see the written exam as a way to review and evaluate all of the knowledge you have received, we want you to release any stress or anxiety around test-taking.

There is no real true pass or fail, do your absolute best to answer the questions to your level of knowledge and understanding, you will be provided any missing pieces that you need to integrate the teachings.

The exam is closed book and you will need to complete it in 2 hours.
